Project & Process
How soon can my project start after approval?
Once we finalize your design and receive the signed contract, most projects typically begin within 2-4 weeks, depending on current workload and permitting timelines. We handle all necessary permits and HOA approvals to ensure smooth progress
What is included in your sales process?
Our sales process begins with a consultation to understand your needs. We then visit your property to take measurements, assess site conditions, and provide a transparent quote. We’ll guide you through the best options and ensure everything is clear before proceeding.
Can I visit the construction site during my project?
Yes, you are welcome to visit the construction site, but please coordinate with us beforehand for safety and to maintain workflow.
What happens if there are weather delays?
We monitor weather conditions and adjust work schedules as needed. If delays occur due to weather, we will notify you promptly and reschedule work to minimize disruption.
Can changes be made once construction has started?
While finalizing plans ahead of time is preferred, we understand that changes may arise. If changes are needed, we will discuss the potential impact on cost and timeline with you before proceeding.
How do you ensure the quality of your work?
Every project is personally overseen by Luis Hernandez, ensuring craftsmanship standards are met. Our crew is trained to focus on details, double-check measurements, and execute builds with precision and care.
Will my property be protected during construction?
Yes, we use protective coverings to safeguard your landscaping, siding, and other property elements during the construction process. Our team also cleans up thoroughly at the end of each day.
Do you provide a written contract?
Yes, every project includes a detailed contract that outlines the scope, materials, timeline, payment schedule, and warranty information. We ensure everything is clear, transparent, and agreed upon before work begins.
Materials & Maintenance
What materials do you use for decks and outdoor structures?
We exclusively use high-quality materials from trusted brands:
- Deckorators: 25-year limited warranty for structural integrity and surface wear.
- TimberTech: 25-50 year limited warranties covering fading, splintering, and cracking.
- MoistureShield: Lifetime limited warranty focusing on moisture resistance and structural integrity.
We also offer hardwoods like IPE, mahogany, and cedar, in addition to composite decking options.
How do I maintain my deck or patio?
Maintenance depends on the materials used. We provide a customized care guide with every project, including specific instructions for cleaning, staining, sealing, and general upkeep based on the materials you choose.
Are your materials environmentally friendly?
Many of our composite decking products are made from recycled materials and are designed with sustainability in mind. We can discuss eco-friendly options during your consultation.
Will my deck be safe and compliant with the code?
Yes, all our decks meet or exceed local building codes and safety standards, including proper railing heights, load-bearing requirements, and spacing.
How do composite decks compare to wood decks?
Composite decks require minimal maintenance—no sanding, staining, or sealing—and are resistant to fading, splintering, and rot. Wood decks offer natural beauty but require regular maintenance to preserve their appearance.
